Naledi is a 10 year old girl with a lively personality who lives with her grandmother. She has a very positive out look dispite being constantly tormented and haunted by vision and nightmares. Through this continuous struggle she tries her best. Naledi often goes into the forest as she is drawn to it and finds her peace when she is in nature.

Her gran often tells her that she is special and destined for greater things, Naledi always feels somewhat conflicted and terrified at the same time. She loves her gran very much and does not want to disappoint her but she just wants to be normal. She is always reminded that doing the right thing is never easy.
